CUSTOM CROWNS & BRIDGES
At Byron Bay Dental, our custom dental crowns and bridges are crafted to restore and enhance the functionality and appearance of your teeth. Crowns, also known as caps, are designed to cover and protect damaged or decayed teeth, providing strength and a natural look. They are ideal for teeth that have undergone root canal treatment, large fillings or severe wear.
Bridges are used to replace one or more missing teeth, anchored securely to the adjacent natural teeth or implants. This can help to restore your smile and aims to prevent the remaining teeth from shifting out of position, which can cause bite problems and further dental issues.
At Byron Bay Dental, we consult with you to ensure crowns and bridges are durable, comfortable and aesthetically pleasing. Patient satisfaction and oral health are our top priorities.

WHAT OUR PROCESS INVOLVES
The process of fitting crowns and bridges typically involves multiple visits with us. Following a detailed consultation, our dentists will prepare the affected teeth by removing any decay and shaping them to fit the crown or bridge. Impressions of the teeth are taken to create a custom-fit restoration. A temporary crown or bridge is placed to protect the teeth until the permanent one is ready.
During your subsequent visit, the temporary restoration is removed, and the permanent crown or bridge is fitted, adjusted and cemented in place. The result is a durable, natural-looking solution that can help restore both function and aesthetics to your mouth.
