JOHN AMSDEN

B.D.S (Otago)

John graduated with a BDS from the University of Otago New Zealand, in 1994. He moved to Australia straight after graduation with his wife and baby daughter, for a one year working holiday.Needless to say he fell in love with the beauty and lifestyle of the area had has called Byron Bay home for the last 28 years. John established Byron Bay Dental in 2011, and is very proud of the unique atmosphere he has created on the premises. From many examples of original art work, to the outlook over trees as you recline in the dental chair. John loves to share knowledge with his patients and takes a holistic approach to their dental care. He enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and has over the years built up an outstanding team of specialists he can refer to, or call upon for advice, so you are always in good hands.

MARK MCGRORY

BDentSt, BDSc (QLD)

Mark has been working with John as a dentist in Byron Bay since 2002. He graduated from the University of Queensland in 1991 with a Bachelor of Dental Studies and a Bachelor of Dental Science. Before settling in Byron Bay, he honed his skills in outback Queensland, gaining valuable experience in all areas of general and family dentistry. Mark loves his tech and uses digital technology to enhance treatment and patient outcomes, making the process more comfortable while also reducing the practices environmental impact. He is our Invisalign provider and loves working with you to improve your smile.

FRANK

Frank has been with us for many years and is a crucial member of the team. Frank helps to make our customers feel at ease when coming in for their dental treatments and he works hard to keep our insect population under control.
